The Global Development Awards Competition is now open

The GDN, our partner within the PCDI, awards annually, researchers from LMICs countries for their outstanding research

The Global Development Network awards the most-innovative research and development projects with the support of the Policy and Human Resources Development Fund (PHRD) trust fund. This fund is managed by the World Bank, and supported by the Ministry of Finance, Government of Japan.

The theme this year is 'Nexus of Education, Development and Human Security' and will feature two categories:

  • The Japanese Award for Outstanding Research on Development for researchers from lower middle income countries (LMICs);
  • The Japanese Award for Most Innovative Development Project for Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).
