SAE Conference 2024: Economic Development in Africa

The conference is an annual scientific event organized by the Centre for Research on African Economies (CSAE) at Oxford University. Researchers from all over the world come together to discuss and debate their research in economic development.

Four young researchers from our research centre will be presenting their work this year:

18 March 2024:

19 March 2024:

• Jules Gazeaud (CNRS, CERDI), Do Index Insurance Programs Live Up to Their Promises? Aggregating Evidence from Multiple Experiments, Session Natural Resources and the Environment 6.
• Michel Ndayikeza (Université Clermont Auvergne, CERDI, Université du Burundi), The impact of underemployment on schooling: evidence from Ethiopia, Session Human Capital and Labour Markets in Ethiopia.
