The ANR, the French National Research Agency, funds the collaborative research project ECOTERM. This research program is an international program involving several multidisciplinary teams. The aim of this research program is to study termites mounds from different perspectives: anthropological, economic, sanitary, and ecological.

Martine Audibert (CERDI, CNRS) and Sébastien Marchand (CERDI, Université Clermont Auvergne) collaborate with a team from the iEES Paris to assess the impacts of ecosystem services linked to termite mounds.

The CERDI is delighted to welcome Chanrithy Lao (iEES, CERDI, Université Clermont Auvergne) to work on this project. She started working on this project earlier this year during her Master's program. She surveyed female farmers from Kbal Tuek, Kampong Province, Cambodia.
