We are delighted to welcome Sévérin TAMWO to our Department for a year, thanks to Campus France and the MOPGA visiting fellowship program.
Sévérin Tamwo mainly works with his mentor, Francesca Marchetta (Université Clermont Auvergne, CERDI), on their shared research interests. She advises and guides his ongoing research on the relationship between emigration and health outcomes in migrant’s home countries.
Sévérin has previously worked as a visiting fellow in several economic departments, including the CAPEC-CIRES, Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, and UNU-WIDER.
He obtained a master's degree in #economics and financial engineering from the Université de Rennes and the University of Yaoundé II. He holds a PhD in economics from the University of Yaoundé II. Previously, he was a consultant for the Observatoire de la Francophonie économique.
