ICTs adoption and firm performance in Africa

12h00 : Magloire Seshie Tsikata will present his draft paper on firms' adoption of digital technologies in Africa and the effects on their performance.

Magloire Seshie Tsikata is writing a thesis on the informal sector and labor market regulation in Africa. Grégoire Rota-Graziosi (CERDI, UCA, CNRS, IRD) and Ahmed Tritah (University of Poitiers, CRIEF) supervise his research. 

Post-internal armed conflict growth in Africa

12h30 : Idrissa Aladji Aya will discuss his upcoming paper on economic growth in a post-conflict period. 

Idrissa Aladji Aya is preparing a thesis under the supervision of Vianney Dequiedt and Michaël Goujon. This thesis will analyze the impacts of conflicts on economic activity in developing countries.
