The call for applications is open
Campus France has just launched the 9th call for projects for the Make Our Planet Great Again (MOPGA) program for young international scientists. This program is funded by the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE), in partnership with the Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MESR) and implemented by Campus France. Approximately 60 grants are awarded each year.
The financial aid includes a monthly stipend, relocation assistance, and health coverage. For this campaign, the research stay will begin between September and December 2026.
The CERDI can host young foreign researchers researching issues related to sustainable development as part of this program. These topics (see detailed description) are at the heart of our team's research activities on the environment and sustainability, notably issues related to health, well-being, energy, and governance.
Please get in touch with the department directors, Simone Bertoli and/or Michaël Goujon, to discuss your application and project.
Eligibility requirements:
Hold a doctoral degree obtained less than 5 years before the date of application, i.e., have defended their thesis between December 2020 and December 2025 inclusive;
Not holding a French citizenship;
To have not resided in France for more than 90 days between 12 September 2025 and 12 December 2025.
