The CERDI is a partner of the 2nd Mediterranean Day "Economic and Statistic Modeling and Analysis"
The 2nd Mediterranean Day "Economic and Statistic Modeling and Analysis" will be held on December 8, 2023, at the International Center for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies-Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Montpellier (CIHEAM-IAMM) in Montpellier.
The CIHEAM-IAMM, the Research Laboratory Economic and Statistic Modeling and Analysis (LR ESMA), and the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE) are co-organizing this event. The CERDI and the CREAD are partners of this event supported by the FESP, Cairo University and the ENSA, University Ibn Zohr. This symposium was initiated in 2019 by Rim Lahmandi-Ayed (L.R. MASE-ESSAI, University of Carthage) and Abdelhakim Hammoudi (INRAE, PSAE, University Paris-Saclay).
It aims, on the one hand, at enhancing the work of young researchers of these regions using quantitative methods and economic and mathematical modeling, while giving them the benefit of the experience of senior researchers. It will thus allow identifying PhD students and postdocs using these approaches that are little used in the economic research in some of those countries. This conference is, on the other hand, an opportunity for these teams to meet, exchange views, share experience, and consider the possibility to set-up partnerships within European and international projects in order to build long-term relations.
The deadline to submit is September 12, 2023.
