12h00 : Ilass Ouedraogo (CERDI, UCA) will present his work on the efficiency of public services in the midst of conflict.
Ilass Ouedraogo explores the relation between conflict and economic development under the supervision of Samuel Guérineau. He has a particular interest on the repercussions of armed conflict on state building and tax system, he also considers the impact of climate change in this research.
12h30 : Yrabo Dabou (CERDI, UCA, Université de Koudougou) works on gender and taxation. He will discuss his research project on the relation between banking services and fiscal performance in developing countries.
Yrabo Dabou prepares a doctorate on the development of mobile payment, financial inclusion, taxation, and vulnérabilité to climate change. Jean-François Brun (CERDI, UCA) and Windkouni Haoua Eugenie Maiga (Université de Koudougou) his research work.
