Seminar.
On Tuesday, February 24, 2026, the CERDI is pleased to welcome Lisa Duforest, Francesco Obino, and Ilhem Satouri from the Global Development Network (GDN) to present a seminar. They respectively hold the positions of Head of Funding and Scholarships, Director of Research and Programs, and Communications Officer.
The Global Development Network is an international organization founded in 1999 that supports high-level social science research focused on public policy in developing countries. The GDN’s headquarters is located in New Delhi, and its European office is based at the Clermont-Ferrand International Development Hub (PCDI).
This seminar will allow the GDN team to present its activities, existing and future collaborations within the PCDI framework, particularly the analysis of global databases. The GDN runs a blog platform, GlobalDev, which promotes research and its findings and offers training on this topic. It also manages a mentoring program for young researchers from the Global South, in which some of our researchers are involved. This meeting will also be an opportunity for both teams to discuss and explore future collaborations.
