The 2025 edition of the Global Development network conference will focus on inclusive digital transformation
The annual conference of the Global Development Network will focus this year on inclusive digital transformation. The conference will be held from October 28 to 30, 2025 in Clermont-Ferrand. This conference is co-organized by the three partners of the Clermont International Development Hub: the GDN, the CERDI and the FERDI.
This event will bring together international researchers to discuss the social impacts of the digital revolution and its technological innovations. As digitalization technologies transform economies and societies worldwide, it is crucial to examine their social impacts and ensure that technological innovations benefit all segments of society, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LIMCs).
The conference program includes examining the social implications of technological changes, exploring innovative solutions, and developing policies that promote digital inclusion. Discussions will also focus on how technologies contribute to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, with emphasis on digital inclusion, equality, and responsible and equitable development as levers for socioeconomic progress.
