The GDRI International Development Economics (IDE CNRS 838) will organise at the CERDI, its second biannual conference on November 15-16, 2018.
For this event two plenary conferences are programmed:
• A new economy for Middle East and North African countries, Rabah Arezki, Chief Economist, World Bank
• Climate change, Inequality and Migration, Frédéric Docquier, Professor (University of Louvain, IRES, Ferdi ) ; (with Jaime de Melo, Université de Genève et FERDI).
As well as a round-table about the competitiveness in the Southern Mediterranean countries. Rabah Arezki, Chief Economist for MENA, World Bank and Ibrahim Elbadawi (ERF Managing Director and FEMISE President) will join with others GDRI team members for this debate.
