Register and submit CV and paper before September 10, 2024
French Association of Development Economists (AFEDeV), in collaboration with the CERDI, is organizing a job market training on October 15 and 16, 2024. The event will take place at the School of Economics of Clermont Auvergne University.
AFEDeV contributes to the promotion of employment for young researchers in academic institutions, including universities and research institutes, at both national and international levels. The increasing competition for academic positions requires specific training. This event allows PhD candidates to carefully prepare for their future job market campaigns.
The event will include 40-minute presentations followed by 10 minutes of questions, as well as 10-minute bilateral meetings with senior participants for in-depth discussions. A special session will provide advice and testimonies for CNRS, IRD, and other academic recruitment processes.
PhD candidates who wish to apply for academic positions in 2024-2025 must register via the form and submit their CV and job market paper before September 10th, 2024. Membership in AFEDeV is required to apply (learn more). No participation fees are required. Admission decisions will be communicated by the AFEDeV scientific committee by September 20th.
