ACR+ General Assembly

Mathieu Leporini (researcher at Cerdi, Centre Erasme) will make the introductory speech at the 2022 ACR+ General Assembly. The event will be held in Brussels on June 9-10, 2022.

The Association of Cities and Regions for sustainable Resource management (ACR+) is an international network of local governments. Its objective is to promote sustainable resource consumption and municipal waste management.

Every year, the network members meet for a general assembly to exchange good practices on sustainable development. This year, the participants will discuss the development of a circular and resilient economy.

Programme

Day 1 - 09 June

13:30 - 14:00: Opening of registrations, meet & greet

14:00 - 15:00: ACR+ cities and regions on the transition path - Presentation of ACR+ work

15:00 - 17:20: ACR+ cities and regions on the transition path - Thematic discussion groups

  • Circular and Green Public Procurement: a powerful tool to shape the transition towards a Circular Economy
  • Sustainable Food Systems: aligning local action to EU targets and global challenges
  • Sustainable textiles: from EU strategy to local systems
  • EPR principles as a tool to change our relationship with waste and products

17:30 - 19:15: EWWR Awards Ceremony
