2024 EUDN PhD Workshop on Development Economics

Three of our PhD students will present their research projects at the 22nd edition of the EUDN workshop

The European Development Network organizes a yearly workshop that brings together PhD students from European universities who are active in development economics. 

The workshop will be held on 14 and 15 May 2024 at the Paris School of Economics, co-organizer and host of this edition. 

Three of our PhD students will present their latest works: :
  • Cheick Camara (Université Clermont Auvergne, CNRS), “Unveiling the Fiscal Ripple: Gender Budgeting Adoption and State Fiscal Policy Dynamics in India”. Discutant : Anmol Somanchi (PSE).
  • Tiemele Aristide Affroumou (Université Clermont Auvergne, CNRS), “(Re)understanding the relationship between Fiscal Decentralization and property tax revenue: Insights from developing and developed countries”. Discutante : Jeanne Bomare (PSE).
  • Sanou Kalo Achille (Université Clermont Auvergne, CNRS), “Do structural constraints influence rent-sharing? An overview of goldproducing countries in Africa”. Discutant : Jérémie Gignoux (PSE).
