Call for papers - Special issue of the Oxford Review of Economic Policy: The scramble for critical minerals


This special issue, co-edited by Rabah Arezki (CNRS, CERDI & Ferdi), Rick van der Ploeg (University of Oxford), and Christopher Adam (University of Oxford), aims to explore the multiple consequences of what may well be “The scramble for critical minerals”, and to propose policy responses for developing countries facing this global phenomenon. 

Selected papers will be presented at a conference hosted by FERDI in Clermont-Ferrand, France, on November 26-27, 2025.  

Detailed abstracts or draft papers must be submitted by September 29, 2025.
