The CERDI is among the institutions that launched the on-line seminars on The Economics of Migration in April 2020. These senior and junior seminars have provided an opportunity for intellectual exchanges in the hard times of the pandemics, and the junior seminar is still active. The same institutions have decided to launch also an in-person Junior Workshop, whose first edition will take place in Paris on June 15-16, 2023.

he Junior Workshop on the Economics of Migration aims to provide an opportunity for junior researchers on migration economics to present and meet in person. Applicants should either be Ph.D. students or have defended their Ph.D. after June 1st, 2020.

The Keynotes speakers for this first edition will be Simone Bertoli (CERDI), Cátia Batista (NOVA SBE) and Frédéric Docquier (LISER).
