The Oxford Review of Economic Policy recently published a special issue on "The scramble for critical minerals"

Internationally renowned economists met in November 2025 in Clermont-Ferrand to discuss the current rush for rare earth minerals. The event, organized by Rabah Arezki (CNRS, CERDI) with Christopher Adam and Frederick van der Ploeg (Université d'Oxford), was held at the FERDI.

The 2026 spring issue of the Oxford Review of Economic Policy is dedicated to the works presented during the conference.
