The 2023 Junior Workshop on the Economics of Migration will be held on June 15 and 16 on the Campus Condorcet, Aubervilliers. The Junior Workshop on the Economics of Migration is a joint initiative of the Institut Convergences Migration (ICM), the Paris School of Economics (PSE), Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER), the University of Luxembourg, Universidad Carlos III, CEPII, and the CERDI. This is a great opportunity for Ph.D. students and early-stage researchers to share their work in a constructive environment, as well as to exchange the results of recent research in different fields of migration economics.

Simone Bertoli (CERDI, Université Clermont Auvergne) will give one of the keynote speech on June 16. He will talk about his research on Border Apprehensions and Federal Sentencing of Hispanic Citizens in the United States. This is a collaborative project with Morgane Laouenan (CES Sorbonne, LIEPP Sciences Po), and Jérôme Valette (CEPII).
