Call for applications: PhD Scholarships at Cerdi

The CERDI (Centre d'Etudes et de Recherches sur le Développement International, UMR 6587) offers two UCA doctoral studentships on a subject related to development economics.

The CERDI is a research center specialized in development economics. Research fields cover both the microeconomic and macroeconomic aspects of economic development.

The candidates' project must be in line with one of the laboratory's research areas, namely:
- Financing development,
- Sustainable development path,
- Integration of developing countries into the global economy.
For more information on the preferred scientific approaches, interested candidates may refer to the CERDI website.

Candidates must hold (or be in the process of obtaining) a master's degree in economics (or an equivalent degree).

The contract will start on 1 September 2020. The selected candidates will be affiliated to the CERDI and the Doctoral School SJEPG (Sciences Juridiques, Economiques, Politiques et de Gestion).

The application must include:
- All transcripts of records since the bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
- A CV
- A letter of motivation
- A letter of recommendation
- The Master thesis or a research paper
- A research project (2 pages)

The oral examination will take place on Monday, June 29, 2020.
