Activités / CV

After obtaining her Ph.D. in Development Economics from the University of Florence in 2008, Francesca Marchetta served as a Jean Monnet Post-Doc Fellow at the European University Institute. From November 2010 to September 2012, she held a post-doctoral position at CERDI, University of Auvergne, where she currently holds the position of Assistant Professor. Furthermore, since September 2018, she has been a resource person and an expert in gender and inclusion related issues for the Partnership for Economic Policy (PEP). Her primary research interests encompass human development, with a particular emphasis on economic migration, education, the labor market, and gender. Her research has been published in several journals including American Journal of Agricultural Economics, Economic Development and Cultural Change, Journal of Development Studies, Review of Economics of the Household, World Development
