The CERDI is pleased to welcome Lucas Fages as a CNRS research engineer specializing in data production, processing, analysis, and surveys.
Lucas graduated as an engineer from the École des Mines d'Albi-Carmaux, a French engineering school, in 2017. After working on numerical simulations for tire structures, he pursued a Master’s degree in Territorial Management at Clermont Auvergne University. He then worked as a research engineer in two research units, Territoires (UMR 1273) and LAET (UMR 5593), supporting research teams with statistical modeling, machine learning, GIS, literature reviews, survey administration, and software development. He then joined the CERDI in January 2025.
Lucas is deeply committed to knowledge-sharing, and wishes to make his work accessible to all by providing practical tips, tools, and methodologies.
